The last few days have been quite eventful. It was this series of events that turned a faithful friendship in to something that lays shattered, overworked, and mostly no more.

I'll take you back to the start of the summer. I began the re-do of my website, which got put on hold temporarily while I helped GGX set up his new 'Garden Party World Zone' website. He had also won a BRIBBLE chat (like the one we used to have as The Hang Out, for old timers.) which he used in conjuunction with the website. The game itself wasn't praised by some, myself included. After the game began to free-fall (as predicted), he had a change of heart and adapted his site towards a new topic. This was called 'Iron Man: Armored Adventures - Fan Zone'. His taste still didn't fit that of others, and some people visited purely for friends being there, hence a lot of "off-topic discussion", which he openely admitted he didn't appreciate. The only on-topic discussion that took place, was expressing distaste for the topic.

That was the summer, but the events took a turn for the worst when he finally got fed up with the use of foul language in the chat, used by a few people. GGX eventually got to the point where he was clutching his rules so tightly, he forgot about the impact on the friends who were 'subconcious users' of the foul language.

One night ago from when I write this, he moved away from my server back to his 'freehostia' server, leaving quite a gruesome page on my server. Where he listed several good points about the server, which actually, the new server maintains a track record of being drastically worse than the previous (mine).

After further arguments today, it seemed he still wanted justice. Me and others decided to give him a bit more than he asked for, and appreciated permanent bans. I continued this and killed all further communication with him.

You can now look at this in two ways. GGX refused to move with the times and still had G-rated plans, which none of us could abide to, or we acted the goat and deserved every bit of it.

Well, the three years were fun, I'll give him that. The amount of highs and lows... what we fought... But, maybe it was three years too long.

Maybe you won't believe a word of what I've just typed here, if you don't, good on you. Thanks for the sanity if you do, however. The level of censorship that he currently maintains is too high for many of us, so, in my opinion, this is what is best.

Okay, so summer is (nearly) over, and we will start getting more active as the Autumn draws in. From what things look like, we're down to a team of 5 as I haven't been in contact with Stargirl or Fair Factor for a long time, their places will however, stay awaiting their return.

I recently renewed PengTropolis.com which leads us safely up to September 2010. I also got access back to my admin account on the old Lighthouse Beacon forums and set up a forwarder message, just in case some site links to them somewhere. Maybe we'll get old timers to register!

For the people who maybe 'doubted' me with me running two sites back-to-back, meaning PengTropolis and my Dazzozo.com, well I recently decided to scrap the new site, which was originally a PHP-Fusion, and opted for a gaming blog which will be easier (in my opinion) to update, and have the time to work on PengTropolis too. If that doesn't work out for me, I have NO idea what possibly would!

Well, that's about it for now, I'll update with more news, more often, this thing of a news post every two months is really starting to hurt, huh?

So... inactivty has been upon us for a while, excluding the ShoutBox. Before the mass amount of inactivity, we were very close to release. The thing is, we still are! All we need to do is a few finishing touches. Obviously we still have lots of things to do after the release, just there are things that must be done and we cannot release the site if they are not.

Any way, the good news is, as the title says, the Summer holidays - or at least mine - are just a couple of weeks away, then I/we have a month and a half off. With this time we will will almost certainly be able to finish the site and make it ready for release.

In other news, while we have only been active in the Shoutbox, other ideas have popped up from various people; I guess there can be benefits to inactivity.

So, I/we'll be seeing you more over the Summer!

As you should know, I'm not actually updating PengTropolis as I still have to finish my own site, yes, I am working on it. But I am watching PengTropolis too, and I just saw the page on the Cove Wiki about the Stage, you know what? I'm Impressed at the work put in to that page, and if you view all pages, we have a huge amount of pages piling up! So make more! At the end, they look really nice!

I've heard many people want stuff to do on the site to speed up it's production process, but because I'm busy doing my site, I can't really point out jobs, as the way we do jobs on this site isn't that organised, it's always been a chip-in system.

So, if you really want to help the site, produce some Wiki pages! But if you find that boring, be creative and think of stuff you can do to the site yourself. Anything to improve it.

I've seen how bored you are waiting for me, so I'm trying to do the last few stages real fast, thanks for your patience.

...the world of technology.

Everyone I'm back after the longest internet interuption ever for me, apparently some DNS servers went down, and the one my internet uses was one of the affected.

After about 4 phone calls they managed to get them all working again, and I'm back now, so thank goodness I can work on PengTropolis again! The past week I was so bored, nothing to really do, my computer is boring without the internet, so it sucked.

Back now, with a few more ideas for PengTropolis!
